Chuanshan Tian Professor Ph.D.(2006), Fudan University Research Interests: Characterization of material with (nonlinear) optical spectroscopy, exotic optical effects and processes, and chemical physics. Research topics include: 1) Correlation between interfacial structure, electrical and optical properties of metal oxides; 2) Development and application of novel nonlinear optical spectroscopic techniques; 3) Interfacial structure of gas hydrates; 4) Microscopic process of interface catalysis; 5) Ultrafast optical techniques and physics.
